840-848: Grew up in a small village in the Far East. Lost his family in a raid and wandered in the wilderness. (1-8)
848-853: Trains under Hideo Wiriamuzu, learning how to use a Great Katana, loses his childhood sweetheart as well as his mentor. Changes name to Hideo Wiriamuzu and moves to Aht Urhgan. (9-13)
853-860: Lies about his age and joins the Imperial Army as a mercenary fighting in their conflicts. (13-20)
860-863: Arrives into the Middle Lands only to find himself in the Great War, explores in the northern regions and gets ambushed by Kindred only to join the Shadow Lord Army. Marches to Tavnazia. Survives the battle of Tavnazia and flees to San d’Oria. Joins the march to the Shadow Lord’s Castle, but gets stranded. (20-23)
863-868: Great War has ended, now working heavily with the nations, raising his reputation in the Middle Lands, encounters a survivor of the Tavnazia Battle, and receives his scar over his right eye, he also begins missing the Near East. (23-28)
868-871: Returns to the Near East. Reunites with his love, and gets into small trouble with the Empire, gets betrayed by beloved and has to pay fines. Hideo’s daughter is born without his knowledge. (28-33)
871-878: Returns to the Middle Lands and rejoins with Tenshodo, begins to drink heavily and meets fifteen year old Ryu and loses to him in a game of dice. Trains Ryu for a short time, but Ryu abandons his training. (33-40)
878-882: Continues working as a Mercenary, to discover someone has stolen his identity, clearing his name, he confronts Ryu in battle. Loses his fight against Ryu and disappears. (40-44)
884-886: Is in isolation in Misareaux Coast, training for his next fight with Ryu. He receives a letter from him, explaining that he is dead and asking forgiveness. Coming out of retirement, he now seeks work. With Near East open to the public, he can now easily travel back and forth. (44-46)
886-Current: Now returning to his mercenary ways; he seeks foes as well as employers as he travels around Vana'diel. Using the Maws as means to find battle, he travels to the Age of Strife or remains in the present. (46-47)
