I wish that I could have see the great Sir Kaliet in battle…perhaps in the afterlife we can cross blades. And I shall give you a gift so you can best Hideo Wiriamuzu even though you do not need any tips from me. His biggest weakness is his vanity as well as his gambling, you can easily defeat him without even drawing a blade.”
Kogenai: “Gentleman Thief, the one…the only Kogenai. I shall miss you my friend, too many women, too many ale, not enough time. Please watch over the group for me, they’ll need someone to be their hero…and I’m picking you. You’ll have to be their hero, besides you can’t go off looking for treasure, mugging Beastmen for loot, taking all the ladies all of the time. Know this my friend, no matter what I’ll be watching down on you so don’t disappoint me Koge.”
Robin: “When I spoke to you, you gave me wise words. I wish I could steal that brain of yours Rob, you are very wise and a good guy. Never give up on your path my little friend, keep pushing on. It’ll have to get tough and dark before you reach the end but know it’ll all pay off in the end. Never weaken on your study of Summoning, one day you might become just as good as or greater than Karaha-Baruha himself. Also during the war countless battles were won with the genius of Scholars, these two paths will lead you to greatness.
Sulfig: “I don’t agree your life style of piracy, but I know you are not a terrible individual. You have great potential locked up in you, but you know that. Become a great swordsman, with it you’ll earn the respect of others. Hideo is not the best of people in Vana’diel, but he damn sure knows how to fight. Just do not take in his beliefs as yours, strive to be something better. Pumpkin Head break away from Wiriamuzu when you can, separate yourself so you can shine brightly as the great swordsman you will become one day. I want you to help watch over the group, show them you aren’t just a smart mouth punk, but you can be many things. Never give up on your path, do not forget who you are and what you want to become, never forget the fallen or those before you. Fight for your own sense of honor; find your own form of Bushido, your own style. I know Hideo is over the top most of the time, but if you ever want to beat him you can always gamble or step up and face him in battle. Show him that the future belongs to the youth.”
Tryn: “You most likely won’t remember me, for the last few times I spoke to you; you acted different and perhaps were different all together. I will miss you Tryn, you were a kind soul that deserves to have a happy life. I know things have not worked out and have not been the best for you, but everything happens for a reason and I am certain that you’ll find happiness again and it won’t slip through your fingers. I wish I could have spent more time getting to you; you have a lovely smile when I saw it. You have so much knowledge in your young age, greatness lies ahead of you. You could do more damage with a simple spell than I could by drawing out my sword. Look after Koge for me, kind Tryn. I pray that Altana smiles down upon you, I know I shall.”
Tsumi: “Tsumi…Trya, the name does not matter to me. I don’t know if it was crush or something real…you must protect your family and everything you hold dear and try to forget your past and look toward the future. Never look back only forward, for you can not change what has happen. I wish that I could see your face one more time. Just know that you have people that care for you, so you can let your guard down now and again. Anthony is a lucky guy. You are not a monster, you are not evil…you are a mother wanting to protect her children and her husband. Tsumi I ask you to watch over the innocent members of the group, the ones who need to grow and become strong. Also do not be shy and hide your figure, come on laugh Tsumi it won’t kill you. Don’t worry about Hideo…he is not worth your time.”
Wantz: “Never, I repeat never give up on your dreams even if no one is behind you. Only you can prevent your growth. Continue on your path and never give up or stray from it. If you can not make it as a Serpent General in the Near East then you can become a hero for the Middle Lands, and create your own group of skilled and heroic Adventurers to protect and defend Vana’diel. I shall be keeping an eye on you Bandit King, don’t let me down I believe in you Wantz.”
Zyth: “Listen Zyth, you do not need to avenge me, you have nothing to prove to me. You were the same brave, heroic, and honorable swordsman since I first spoke to you. Your dedication to Bushido and desire are by far greater than mine. You have surpassed me in every way imaginable on the path of a Samurai. Keep your blade sharp as well as your mind, stay focus and clear headed. Anger, rage…will only cloud your thought. You must be the hero and watch over the group. It’s not a very praised or respected role, but you must do this. You are strong willed and determined, nothing can stand against your blade. The way of the warrior, let it guide you, take nothing for granted and remember there is a reason for everything. If you want to defeat Hideo, go after his two weaknesses. His vanity and his gambling, you can easily defeat him here without drawing a blade. But if you must face him in battle, then be careful. There are two possible outcomes for every way that battle will end. If you best him he’ll either respect you or despise you to the point where he will always be after you. If he beats you he will either kill you or allow you to live so you can challenge him to a rematch…if there is a draw. Well he will admire you and ask for a rematch down the road. But you can defeat him without even drawing your blade.”
